Does CabinetDirect charge for design services? Nope! That’s the beauty of working with CabinetDirect. All design services are free of charge.
Are CabinetDirect cabinets made in the USA? Keeping jobs in America is the best reason to purchase your cabinets with CabinetDirect! Both Starmark and UltraCraft are American owned and operated companies that manufacture their cabinets right here at home, in the USA! Starmark is located in Sioux Falls, South Dakota and UltraCraft is located in Liberty, North Carolina.
Does CabinetDirect just do kitchen cabinets? No way! If you have another project that involves cabinets, just measure the space and let us  know what you had in mind. We have designed custom built-ins, fireplace mantels, laundry rooms, bathroom vanities, entertainment centers, wet bars, etc.  (Please note: Minimum of 10 cabinets per jobsite delivery.)
How do I choose which cabinet company to go with? You can’t go wrong with either Starmark or UltraCraft. Both cabinet companies are part of the Norcraft Group. They are manufactured here in the USA. They are environmentally responsible and are certified brands in the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association (KCMA) Environmental Stewardship Program. Both cabinet companies offer hand crafted, plywood construction with dovetail full extension drawers, soft close doors and drawers.
Can I get a cabinet sample? Of course! Just reach out to your project coordinator and they will take it from there!
How long is the design process? Start to finish is dependant on how many revisions you and your designer go through. Your initial design will only take up to two business days.
What is a traditional cabinet vs a full access cabinet? Traditional cabinetry (offered by Starmark) has a ¾” solid hardwood face-frame with door reveals of ¼” on their Modern Overlay door styles, 1” on their Traditional Overlay door styles and a fully exposed faceframe of 1-½” on inset door styles. Full Access cabinetry (offered by UltraCraft) does not have a face frame on the front, but offers a full solid ⅝” back panel with door reveals of 3/32” on all door styles.
How long does it typically take to receive my cabinets? Starmark Overlay cabinets typically take 6-8 weeks and Inset cabinets 8-10 weeks to be ready to ship from your final approval of the order. UltraCraft cabinets typically take 5-7 weeks to be ready to ship from your final approval.
What should I expect on the day of delivery? You will be given an estimated ready to ship date by your project coordinator. Once your cabinets are ready to be shipped, you will be contacted by a delivery trucking company that is local to your area. The cabinets are shipped factory direct from the manufacturer to that trucking company in your area. The local delivery agent will then contact you directly to make arrangements to deliver your cabinets. The majority of the nation’s delivery agencies will unload the truck and bring each box into your house for you. On the rare occasion, orders will be shipped via semi-truck with lift gate only service. This is location specific and you will be notified by CabinetDirect if this special circumstance pertains to your order.
What is Starmark’s warranty? Limited Lifetime Warranty that each product will be free from defects in material and workmanship, under normal use and maintenance for as long as you own the cabinets. Click here to access Starmark’s complete warranty details.
What is UltraCraft’s warranty? 100 Year Warranty that each product will be free from defects in material and workmanship, under normal use and maintenance for 100 years or as long as you own the cabinets. Click here to access UltraCraft’s’s complete warranty details.
What do I do if I receive a damaged cabinet or cabinet part? That’s simple! Just reach out to your project coordinator via email, instant chat, or by telephone 888-263-3333. Your coordinator will troubleshoot the situation with you. We will expedite the parts to the best of our ability. Please keep in mind that even replacement parts are made to order.
How long do I have to report damage? CabinetDirect gives you 15 days from your delivery date to report any damages.
What if I receive something in the wrong size or color? That’s simple! Just reach out to your project coordinator via email, instant chat, or by telephone 888-263-3333. Your coordinator will troubleshoot the situation with you. If the cabinet company or CabinetDirect ordered something incorrectly, we will order the correct item right away with the cabinet company. We will expedite the parts to the best of our ability.  Please keep in mind that even replacement parts are made to order.
What types of payment do you accept? We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover Card and Paypal.
May I return a cabinet or an item if I changed my mind? Unfortunately, your sale is final and items can not be returned.  All of your cabinets and all of the kitchen components are made to order special just for your kitchen.
How do I clean my cabinets? You will need two cleaning cloths that are lint-free and free of loose fibers.(one wet and one dry). Cloth diapers and terry cloth work well. Use a damp (water only) cloth to wipe cabinet clean. If a cleanser is necessary, use a mild, liquid, non-abrasive cleaner like Murphy’s Oil Soap. Only apply the cleanser to your cleaning cloth, not directly to the cabinet. Work in small areas so you can dry the cabinet immediately with the dry cloth.
